What it Does: A two-step application of lightweight colour + mirror-finished top coat. Apply the colour. Let it dry. Apply the top coat! Provides sheer to medium coverage with a rich, lustrous, moisturizing finish. Longwearing, comfortable on the lips. Won’t shift, transfer, feather or smudge.
My Opinion: MAC comes up with too many limited edition collections that it's hard to keep up with them all. However, this particular collection caught my eye. I work 8+ hours per day and talk A LOT. My lipstick is constantly wearing off and have to reapply every hour! So a lipstick that lasts 8 hours and will withstand almost anything is definitely worth a try.
I've tried the drugstore lip long wear brands but they made my lips flake and the color selection wasn't to my liking.
After trying it I was amazed! It lasted 8 hours, thru meals and dozens of phone calls. It's now my HG for work. I already stocked up on each color I liked: Alta Moda and Coco Lust. Those are the only dark colors. They also have a permanent line but the colors are lighter.
The Cons: Well the only bad thing is that the parts come apart. Each side has its own tube of lip gloss. Each tube is glued onto that middle black MAC Label... but the glue wears off and your tube falls off. But don't worry, it doesn't affect the lip gloss at all. That's totally intact.
FYI: The only way to remove it is by using a oil-based makeup remover. I use Almay.
